video
The video represents the "Appropriate" - how we are expected to behave in society. I chose to use pastel colors to create a plastic world that simulates our somewhat false behaviour in the company of people. Inspired by Charlie Chaplin's silent films, I aimed to criticise in a humorous and often exaggerated way, and that is why the video is presented almost without words.
Motion Graphics
The circles represent the "Existent" - our true emotional data. The sort of data that represents our authentic feelings that does not always coincide with what we showcase and aspire to broadcast outwardly. Sometimes these feelings are contrary to the situation in which we find ourselves in.
Code
The code represents the "Desired" - how we perceive the situation, the inner dialogue that is going on in our heads in real time. In other words, this is our interpretation of how to act and behave in a given situation in order to maintain or obtain a high social ranking.
My final design project.
A series of simultaneous videos that creates visual overload on the viewer and presenting the same situation in three angles: the Appropriate, the Desired and the Existent.
The project critic the need for accepting positive feedback in the net and the will to achieve an ideal image of life out-front in any cost.
